The Huttopia campsite and its partners organise a rich and varied activity programme all the way through the winter, giving you the chance to enjoy everything that the ski resort of Font-Romeu in the Pyrenees has to offer. Enjoy the mountain in whichever way you like best and discover some unusual activities to make your holidays unforgettable…

Buy your lift pass: : Make the most of the 40 pistes in the Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000 ski area. There is something for everyone, with a quiet beginners area for people new to snow sports and a boarder cross and dual slalom course for experienced skiers. This year the resort will also have some themed pistes: "the animals of the Pyrenees" and "the life of Inuits".
N.B You can buy or top-up your lift passes on the campsite.

Cross-country skiing :
Discover the 111km of groomed and marked cross-country ski slopes that offer something for all levels of skier, and enjoy the beautiful winter scenery.


Equipment hire :
Equipment hire: Special rates with our partners on equipment hire and purchase of winter sports equipment (downhill skis, cross-country skis, snowboards, snowshoes).


Ski lessons :
Make the most of the chance to learn or improve your level. Useful Tip: 10% discount if you book more than 5 days in advance.


Unusual holiday ideas > Laser biathlon : The combination of physical activity and precision make biathlon a balanced sport. You can try out this original activity in the large open spaces of the Font-Romeu ski area.


Unusual holiday ideas > Hot water :
An unique opportunity to discover the pleasure of canyoning in natural hot water! Abseiling, slides and baths, in water that is naturally 35 - 40°


Snowshoes walking :
  A calm and peaceful natural sporting activity that is in harmony with nature. We work with a partner who organises guided snowshoe walks that are both active and fun for all the family. And if you would like to set off on your own, there are some snowshoes are available at the campsite for your use.


Dog Sleighing :
Share a moment of real complicity between Man and animal as you discover the Catalan Pyrenees and its spectacular scenery.


Thermal Baths :
There is nothing better after a day of skiing than a relaxing break in the natural thermal baths of the Pyrenees.


Odeillo solar furnace :
One of the 2 largest solar furnaces in the world. You can learn about renewable energy, the work of the CNRS and the materials that are used in space and that will be used in the future…

Family Workshops
Take part in a traditional family workshop (cookery, tapas, sweet pizzas, Christmas decorations…)

Quad mountain-biking!
"It's easier than mountain biking and more environmentally friendly than a quad bike!" Everyone will enjoy this original form of transport, that you can try out during a taster-session on the campsite (during February half-term holidays)

For children:
Fun activities are organised for children at the end of the day: indoor games, manual workshops… or have fun on the campsite sledging run (sledges are available for your use on the campsite).

There is nothing like a hot chocolate and a waffle to relax after a day out on the mountainside.

Snowshoeing evening
Go out on a gentle evening snowshoeing walk and admire the sunset over the mountains, enjoy a class of mulled wine midway through the journey, and come back by torch light…


Tales and legends of the Cerdagne
Come along to a storytelling evening, where a local shepherd will tell you the traditional tales of the Cerdagne region.


Themed dinner
Join our friendly and tasty Catalan-themed dinner, where you will be able to try local specialities from the Cerdagne, Catalonia and Languedoc Roussillon.


Music!
Come along for an evening of music and dancing with bands playing gypsy jazz, Latin music and pop-rock.
