Take part in the Trail Run in Font Romeu on the 21 and 22 January 2012!

3 distances are possible: 12km, 25km and 40km. This trail run on the snow is unique in its location, atmosphere and the quality of the site. Font-Romeu, voted the sportiest town in France in 2009 by the Equipe newspaper, organises the trail run in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees Regional Nature Reserve, which is an ideal location for sport.

This year, a "DC LIVE PARK" will open (the third in France) in the Calme snowpark.
The idea is that the boarder or skier puts a sticker on their helmet that has an electronic chip in it, so that the rider can be detected each time they do a run and their progress can be recorded by two cameras that are set up on the kickers.
When they get home they can make an internet account at www.dceurope-livepark.com and type in the code that was on the sticker to see the videos, edit them (music, transitions, special effects etc.) and then share them with friends.

It is even possible to show the video directly on Facebook or Twitter.

You can get the stickers for free from the staff at the Calme snowpark.

A new piste has now been opened for cross-country skiers in the Calme Sud area!
The blue piste, named « Martin Fourcade », in honour of the local Biathlon champion, is 2.4 km long. A learners zone has also been created at the start of the piste.

These two new features will have complete coverage by artificial snow-makers. As a reminder, Font Romeu Pyrénées 2000 has 500 snow cannons! Whatever the natural snow conditions, it is always possible to ski in the areas above the plateau of the Calme.
