In the heart of the mountains...

Gaspésie national park is situated in the heart of the Gaspésienne peninsular surrounded by mountains. A hiker's paradise, there are 25 peaks higher than 1000 metres and 140km of tracks to enjoy. The peaks Chic-Chocs are well known by amateur adventure enthusiasts.

Activities

The Huttopia tents are located at the Mont-Albert campsite where you will sleep by the side of the mountain, in an exceptional setting. The Discovery and Service Centre is very close. In this brand-new building, you will find a nature shop, all equipment rental services and many discovery activities to get to know this area and its special features better.

Rimouski 220 km

From Quebec and Montreal, take Freeway 20 as far as Rivière-du-Loup, then take Route 132 as far as Ste-Anne-des-Monts. There, take Route 299 which takes you directly to the park entrance.

For the gourmets among you, it is possible to lunch in the Centre (you will enjoy a staggering view over Mont-Albert) or take advantage of the famous restaurant at the Gite de Mont-Albert.

The Park offers many hikes lasting from 1/2 hour to 10 days to satisfy all levels; we especially recommend the "Lac aux Américains" hike to do as a family. You will also be able to take rabaska or canoe trips on Lake Cascapedia, the largest lake in the park.
