Grands-Jardins park owes its name to lichen covering the ground and it's extraordinary plant life which is not normally found in northern parks. This island in the great north of Quebec is very popular with fishing enthusiasts but is also favoured by hikers and campers.
The Huttopia tents are located in the Pied-des-Monts campsite: this campsite is well liked for its ease of access and its closeness to the Mont du Lac-des-Cygnes trail.

From Quebec and Montreal, take Freeway 40 East then, shortly after Quebec, take Route 138 East as far as Baie St-Paul. Shortly after, there will be a junction for Route 381 North. |
