Senonches
The Senonches forest
Senonches is in the Parc Naturel Régional du Perche (Perche regional natural park), 130 km from Paris and 40 km from Chartres and is a medieval city dominated by a Roman church and 12th century chateau-museum.
Its forest is part of its reputation: the Senonches state forest extends over 4,300 hectares and is the largest in the Departement and one of the largest in France. Fixed plantations, inextricable undergrowth, impenetrable forest, bottomless lakes, worrying marshes: the majestic Senonches forest is full of evocative and mysterious sites where a small animal population discretely resists and subsists far from the agitation of the plain and its fenced fields. 8th World Merino Congress
From the 3rd to the 5th of May, 2010
The 8th World Merino Congress will be held at the Bergerie Nationale of Rambouillet, near Paris. You can stay at Huttopia Rambouillet, one of the partners of this event.
The 8th World Congress will cover the technical and scientific aspects of sheep-raising and of Merino sheep in the perspective of sustainable development. The programme will enable attendees to gain insight into European policies and needs, all the while calling upon the contributions of international experts.

Elle est ouverte toute l'année et propose toutes sortes d’activités de pleine nature. Par exemple en hiver : ski, raquettes, chien de traineau, snowpark, espace ludique de 20 hectares pour les enfants... ainsi qu'un programme d'animations pour toute la famille. Deux domaines sont reliés pour offrir 58 km de ski alpin et 111 km de ski de fond !

Winter Xtrem 5 !

Winter Xtrem 5 is a wintry event opened to everyone, with 5 disciplines in relay or solo: mountain bike, cross-country skiing, trail, ski of rando, and snowshoes. An event allying sport, ecology and conviviality, because the participants are waited disguised!
Rates: 35 euro by participant (including pasta party of front chases, meal, prize-giving, technical prize finisher and a surprise!)

Font-Romeu été
Font-Romeu, ville sportive de l'année 2009 !
En présence du secrétaire d'Etat aux sports, Font-Romeu a été désignée ville la plus sportive de 2009 avec Compiègne.
La station des Pyrénées regorge d'activités de toute saison, et abrite plus de licenciés sportifs que d'habitants ! Son équipement phare, le Centre national d'entraînement en altitude (CNEA), accueille presque chaque année les équipes de France en stage.
