Sépaq is a Quebec state company which has the right to manage and develop natural territories and tourist materials which are entrusted to it in accordance with constitutional law. Sépaq has been given the mission to ensure accessibility, highlighting and protection of these public materials for the benefit of it's clients Quebec regions and future generations.
The ministre du Développement durable (Ministry for Sustainable development) has granted Sépaq the right to look after 47 establishments grouped under 3 networks : 16 animal reserves, 8 tourist centres and 22 national parks.
Whether for nature, adventure or culture, their establishments covering an area of more than 80,000km², are a must see with the most beautiful Quebecois nature.

Following the example of other large national park networks, Québec parks aim to ensure the durability of regions with large ecosystems. Created and managed following criteria laid out by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, national parks should also highlight educational and open air aims.
Québec parks ensure that all fixtures are geared towards discovering the parks whilst respecting protected areas of the territory or ensuring minimal impact on these areas. It is even more important to practice responsible tourism in these areas.

We have chosen Contact Signature to create the wooden structure of our tents in Québec. This company from Gaspésie produces the components using white cedar, wood which is produced locally using sustainable development processes.
CONTACT (COopérative de Nature et de Tourisme d’Aventure Connectée à la Terre, Cooperative for Nature and Adventure Tourism linked to the earth) is a solidarity cooperative created by several members of the same village in Gaspésie.
This project involves creating a laboratory which will allow for innovation and advances in sustainable development practices on three levels : economical, social and environmental. With the help of concrete actions, CONTACT aims to develop responsible behaviour.
Huttopia has decided to become a member of this cooperative to improve exchanges between France and Quebec on sustainable development.
