Basic shelter or primitive accommodation made from branches, straw, earth, etc...
An imaginary country where an ideal government rules over a happy population : the new Island of Utopia. According to Thomas More (1516), Utopia means "nowhere": a place that is a no-place, an absent presence, an unreal reality, a nostalgic elsewhere, an unidentifiable otherness.
...in a corner of our head… The silhouette of Th. More's island of the blessed at the end of the earth is now closer to us. Our planet's geographical regions have now been fully explored. Otherness is proportional to rupture and change rather than geographical remoteness.
Everything happens as if our HOMO SAPIENS CYBERNETICUS in search of his annual "breather", the "good break" he needs, his favourite "relaxing spot" and, in short, "a return to his roots" was in fact looking for this alternative fictional nowhere.
Huttopia is this island far from our daily routine, our secret place.
Certain images remind us of our childhood memories, the ridge tent pitched at the bottom of the garden where we dreamt of spending our summer nights. Other images take us to real camping in American and Canadian national parks.

Being a camper primarily means looking for a direct and simple relationship with nature; it is also the pursuit of a little adventure and total freedom only limited by the constraints of nature and the determination to find a certain authenticity contrasting with daily routine.

Camping in the countryside or in the mountains in a tent or in a Huttopia hut, gypsy caravan or ridge tent, being content with preserved comfort with more simplicity than at home, shopping at local markets, living without the phone or television on protected campsites in the heart of nature, just relaxing or going mountain-biking or canoeing... In a word, living simply and directly is what Huttopia offers you.
